The release of the Final Report on the review of the Code of Banking Practice on 8 October 2001 completed Mr Viney's part in the review.

The Australian Bankers' Association (ABA) is responsible for drafting the new Code and it is taking steps to set up that process.

People wishing to correspond on the Final Report or on the review itself are requested to write to the ABA and not to Mr Viney.

Correspondence forwarded to Mr Viney will be re-directed to the appropriate ABA staff member.
